Before we can fix your Xbox 360 freezing problem, we must find out why and when it’s freezing.

Is Your Xbox 360 Freezing On a Specific Game - Eject the disc and have a look at the back to see if there are any scratches, markings, dirt, or anything else that might be preventing your console from reading it properly. Clean the game disc and try again.
Xbox 360 Freezing In Xbox Live – if it’s freezing on xbox live, it could mean that it’s a connection problem so check your internet. Make sure that all the settings are correct. You may also need to check your firewall and port settings.
Xbox 360 Hard drive Cache - Clearing the cache is 100% safe and does not effect your game saves, profiles, demos, videos,etc.. but it will delete some of your auto-game updates, which can easily be downloaded later. The files in the cache is to make your data load faster, but sometimes they become corrupted which will cause xbox 360 freezing problems.
Xbox 360 Over Heating – Just make sure that your xbox 360 isn’t too close to a heat source.
Remove Your Hard Drive – Your Xbox 360 hard drive can become corrupted which may cause Xbox 360 Freezing, so try to remove your hard drive and see if the xbox 360 freezing problem still occurs.
